Day 1: Arrival
On arrival, you will be picked by our company professional drive/guide that will transfer you to Ghion/Global Hotel for Dinner and overnight. Depending on your time of arrival, our guide may propose an Addis Ababa City Tour that would include visiting the St George Church, National Museum, and a site seeing tour that would lead to the Entoto Mountains that provide a glorious view of the.

Day 2: Addis Ababa – Kombolcha
After breakfast, drive to Kombolcha found in the Amaha region south of Dessie. Enjoy a visit to the Senbete village where we come along the Oromo and Afar people market that has loads of jewellery woven materials and hand crafts, you may have a chance to exercise your bargaining skills.
Enjoy dinner and overnight at Meron Hotel/Tekle Hotel
Day 3: Kombolcha – Lalibela
After our breakfast, drive towards Lalibela having a rewarding stop at the Debre Estifanos Monastery located on the Cryptic Island of Lake Hayk. After, drive to Yemrha or Roha Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full Day Lalibela
In the morning, mule ride and walk to the top of Asheten Mariam Monastery, this is well known for its 12th Century monastery church and stunning view at 10,298 feet above sea level. The view enclosed by diverse types of wild flowers and Afro-alpine vegetations and crops on the field is so spectacular.
After lunch, visit the 2nd group rock-hewn churches which include the most prominent rock-hewn monolithic church, St. George, Bete Gabriel, Bete Mercorios, Bete Emanuel and Bete Aba Libanos. Continue walking through the monastery where monks and nuns live, before returning to Roha/Yemrha Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Lalibela – Gondar
After an early breakfast, drive to Gondar which was Ethiopia’s 17th Century permanent capital. Gondar’s walled royal enclosure has made it one of Ethiopia’s biggest and most exciting cities. The enclosures at Gondar are gifted with well preserved castles and old buildings. Enjoy your dinner and overnight at Goha/Beleguez Hotel.
Day 6: Gondar City Tour
Gondar served as the capital city of Ethiopia from 1632-1667 and is prominent for its medieval castles and churches. Visit the Royal Enclosure, a walled compound having 6 different castles built from 17th century by different kings, the pool of King Fasilidas, which served as a baptismal pool during Ethiopian Epiphany. We will also visit other churches as well as the Deberberhan Sillassie known for its incredible ceiling decorated with winged angels from the 17th century. Return to Goha/Beleguez Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Simien Mountains National Park
Make a full day excursion to Sankaber; part of the Simien Mountains National Park and the “Felasha” or the black Jewish village. It is assumed that the Felashas settled at the village during the time of king Menelik the first, the son of Queen of Sheba and King Solomon. At Sankaber, there is a great a chance to see troops of bleeding heart baboon in addition to a relaxing trek in the most remarkable sceneries of the park including Ginbar River Falls and Wolkafit mountain chain. The area is also habitat of endemic vegetations such as giant lobelia and beautiful wild flowers. Retire to Goha/Beleguez Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Bahir Dar
Take and early morning drive to Bahir Dar, founded by the Jesuit settlers in the 16th Century from which the Páez building dates, and it is located on the southern part of Lake Tana. The Blue Nile Falls and the holy Selassie palace are found nearby Bahir Dar, the commercial centre of the Amhara province.
In the afternoon, take a 4-5hours boat trip on Lake Tana which has got an outstanding network of 37 islands scattered over the surface of 3000 sq km. Whilst on the Lake, take a ride through the monastery islands of Zehie, Mahal, Gyorgis, Mehret, Ura Kidane and probably Asua Mariam. Enjoy your dinner and over night at Tana/Papyrus Hotel.
Day 9: Bahir Dar – Addis Ababa
After breakfast, take a drive through Lake Tana and enjoy the astonishing Blue Nile Falls which cover a width of about 400meter and height of over 45 meters. Retire to Bahir Dar for lunch. After lunch, fly to Addis Ababa reaching in time for check in, dinner and overnight stay at Global Hotel/Ghion Hotel.
