DAY 1: ARRIVE IN NAIROBI
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel where you will be given a short briefing through this deluxe Kenya tour. In the afternoon, you will visit Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Manor where you will see the Rothschild Giraffe. Sundowners and dinner at Sarova Stanely Hotel
DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN SWEETWATERS GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, drive to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, a 24,000 acre ranch overlooking a floodlit waterhole. You will have an opportunity to watch animals in their natural habitat. Meet Morani, the tamed rhino and see the Chimps at their sanctuary. Later, enjoy a night game drive to catch up with the night predators. Overnight and dinner at Sweetwaters Serena camp
DAY 3: TRANSFER TO SHABA GAME RESERVE FROM SWEETWATERS
After breakfast, drive to Shaba, a Savannah National Reserve encountering Samburu people en route. It is a natural habitat for the various species and some are endemic to this area such as the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, and Gerenuk. Shaba Reserve has a scenic landscape and revering forests. It has lots of springs at which animals congregate during the dry season. Overnight and dinner at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge
DAY 4: EXPLORE SAMBURU AND SHABA GAME RESERVES
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day of game drives at the Shaba and Samburu Reserves. The two reserves are adjoining and lie on either side of the Northern Ewaso Nyiro River. You will have a choice of a picnic lunch and continue with game viewing to spot the various species of game unique to these northern parks. Overnight and dinner at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge
DAY 5: TRANSFER MOUNT KENYA
After breakfast, continue your adventure by taking a morning game drive in Shaba. Later, travel across the Equator to the slopes of Mt. Kenya. Arrive at the famous Mt. Kenya Safari Club which offers a unique blend of comfort and relaxation amidst lush gardens for the perfect mid Kenya safari break. Overnight and dinner at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club
DAY 7: HIKING MOUNT KENYA
Wake up, have breakfast and get ready for a hike to day. You will be led by your guide to the starting point of the hike and walking sticks may be provided to you to ease your journey. During this adventure, you will be exposed to plenty of flora and fauna and you can choose from the less tedious trails or the tedious ones because this all depends on your level of fitness. DAY 8: TRANSFER TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its million flamingoes as well as other birds. The sight of the pink flamingoes on the lake is amazing. Arrive at the park in time for lunch at the lodge and time for relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy game viewing with a stop at the lake shore to see the flamingoes at close proximity, as well as other animals which inhabit the park. This park is a rhino sanctuary and home to rare Rothschild, giraffes and tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge
Day 9: TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After an early breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Every year millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate into the Mara in search of water and grasses. Their dramatic river crossings are a reality to all visitors. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will have an optional opportunity to visit a Masai Village in its natural setting and learn about the Masai culture. Dinner and overnight at Governor’s camp
Day 10: EXPLORE MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, explore the reserve and for a Big Five safari in kenya to spot lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros plus varieties other animals during morning and evening game drives. The Mara covers an area of about 1,500 square kilometers in the south western corner of Kenya, and it is bordered on the west by the Olooloo escarpment. The common language of the Masai is Mara, and the word Mara means spotted-referring to the clusters of bush which dot the plains. You will have the option of guided walks, village walks, bush breakfast and night game drives. Dinner and overnight at Governor’s camp
DAY 11: TRANSFER TO NAIROBI
After breakfast, return to Nairobi. The afternoon will be for your leisure. You will have the option of a city or market tour. In the evening, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight
