Day 2: Addis Ababa City Tour

After breakfast, visit Africa’s diplomatic capital with a drive to the Ethnological museum which exhibits culture and handicrafts of diverse Ethiopian ethnic groups. After a relaxation and lunch, head to Menelik’s Mausoleum commonly known as Ba’ata Church dating back 90 years, one of the oldest churches in Addis. This Church harbours magnificent paintings and royal tombs of ancient Emperors.

Proceed towards the National Museum where archaeological and cultural remnants, counting “Lucy” the 3.2 million year old hominid are exhibited.

Drive through the largest open air market, Mercato before retiring to Sheraton hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Addis Ababa – Lalibela

This morning, we catch the flight to Lalibela to enjoy the beauty of the 12^th Century 11 rock-hewn churches, one of the world’s most absurd man made creatures which portray a lasting monument of man’s faith in God. These churches are situated around Lalibela. Enjoy our dinner and overnight stay at Roha/Yemrha

Day 4: Lalibela City Tour

In the morning, mule ride and walk to the top of Asheten Mariam Monastery, this is well known for its 12th Century monastery church and stunning view at 10,298 feet above sea level. The view enclosed by diverse types of wild flowers and Afro-alpine vegetations and crops on the field is so spectacular.

After lunch, visit the 2nd group rock-hewn churches which include the most prominent rock-hewn monolithic church, St. George, Bete Gabriel, Bete Mercorios, Bete Emanuel and Bete Aba Libanos. Continue walking through the monastery where monks and nuns live, before returning to Roha/Yemrha Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lalibela – Addis Ababa

In the morning, transfer to the airport and catch the flight to Addis Ababa to local restaurant and enjoy traditional Ethiopian entertainment from the different ethnic groups before connecting to Bole international airport to catch your flight back home.
