Day 1 ARRIVE IN CAPE TOWN
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport. You are met, assisted and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 CAPE TOWN
In the morning take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a fabulous view of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. In the afternoon, leave by ferry to Robben Island for tour of the island, including the famous/infamous former prison, now a museum.

Day 3 CAPE TOWN
The Bo-kaap-take a tour of the picturesque “Malay Quarter”, its dynamic museum and the oldest Mosque in the South Hemisphere. District Six-we examine the now desolate area, Zonnebloem, which was District Six and visit the living museum which attempts to represent and recapture District Six in various ways.

Day 4 CAPE TOWN- JOBERG-SOWETO
Flight to Johannesburg. Met on arrival at Johannesburg International Airport. Depart on a tour of Soweto. Observe life in the “New” and “Old” Soweto. Visit a “Shebeen” (local pub) and chat with the residents of Soweto.

Day 5 JOBERG- LESEDI
After breakfast, transfer to Lesedi for a tour and cultural performance dinner and overnight. Lesedi is a Multi-cultural African Village set amongst the pristine Bushveld and Rock Hills.

Day 6 JOBERG-MPUMALANGA- KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Depart Johannesburg along the N4 Highway towards Mpumalanga Province. Spend the morning exploring this spectacularly beautiful region. In the afternoon enter the world famous Kruger National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight

Day 7 KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
We start at dawn and on this day and do a full day Game Drive to try and spot as many animals as possible. Our Game Drive vehicles are radio linked to other vehicles in the Park and therefore we have an advantage in tracking down the elusive “Big 5”. We will return to our lodge in the late afternoon and have time to relax before dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 8 KRUGER PARK-KWAZULU NATAL
We again start at dawn and do a thorough morning drive taking in as much as possible on this, our last day in the Park. By this time hopefully we have caught a glimpse of the elusive Leopard. We have a late breakfast and depart thereafter for our scenic drive towards Johannesburg. We explore the Mpumalanga Panorama route, and along the way we visit some breathtaking views and spectacular scenery. Our first stop is God’s Window, an overwhelmingly beautiful viewpoint with a 1000m drop into the “Lowveld”. At the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Blyde (Happy) and the Treur (Sad) Rivers meet up and form a magnificent display in the Blyde River Canyon. We stroll back in time, down the historic main street of Pilgrim’s Rest. It takes us back to the days when dreamers and desperadoes from around the world converged on this little-known valley in a hectic scramble for the riches that lay beneath its grassy hillsides. Return to Johannesburg late afternoon. Fly to Durban.

Day 9 SHAKALAND
Today we continue traveling south through Zululand to Shakaland for a unique African experience. Feel the pulsating rhythm of Africa as you experience the excitement and romance of the days of Shaka, King of the Zulus, in this authentic recreation of the Great Royal Homestead overlooking the Umhlatuze Lake. Watch the assegai-wielding warriors, share the fascinating secrets of the Sangomas and witness traditional customs such as tribal dancing, spear making and a beer drinking ceremony. Enjoy a Traditional African lunch. Continue to Durban.

Day 10 DURBAN -JOBERG-VICTORIA FALLS
This morning enjoy breakfast before departing on a short city tour of Durban. Early afternoon transfer to Durban International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls connecting in Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met by Palace Travel representative for your transfer to your hotel. In the evening experience a show of traditional music and dance at the African Village. On arrival at the village you will take your place beside a large open fireplace and the drums start beating out a slow, hypnotic, ancient, rhythm.

Day 11 VICTORIA FALLS
This morning you will depart to the entrance of the Falls for a 2 hour- guided walking tour of one of nature’s supreme masterpieces, the Victoria Falls. You will be given an insight into how this 150-million-year-old phenomenon was created and have the opportunity to take in its awesome, un-spoilt grandeur, which defies description. After the tour of the falls proceed to a guided tour of the African Village. This unique African Village depicts the traditional way of life of Zimbabwe’s six main ethnic groups. The art of beadwork and crocheting is displayed by the women whilst the men demonstrate their woodworking skills. Late this afternoon you will be transferred to the riverbank for the departure of the Sundowner Cruise up the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 12 DEPART VICTORIA FALLS – JOBERG – DEPART
After a short morning tour of Victoria Falls, transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and connect with your international flight
